Born and raised in Munich, I moved to Cambridge for my MPhil in Linguistics and never left. Teaching German is more than a profession for me - it is a way of sharing my culture and language with people who are genuinely curious about it.

My teaching style is immersive and communicative. I use German as the medium of instruction from an early stage, adjusting complexity to the student's level. Grammar is taught in context through real-world texts, audio materials, and conversation, not through isolated drills.
I prepare students for GCSE, A-level, and Goethe-Zertifikat examinations at all levels from A1 to C1. I also work with professionals who need German for business, academics relocating to German-speaking countries, and anyone who wants to read Kafka in the original.
My lessons incorporate cultural elements - music, literature, current affairs, film - because language cannot be separated from the culture it expresses. Students tell me they enjoy my lessons because they feel more like conversations than classes.

βVery professional and well-prepared. My grades improved significantly after just a few sessions. The structured approach makes all the difference.β
βPatient and encouraging, even when I struggled with the basics. Never made me feel judged. Genuinely invested in my progress.β
βReliable and professional. Sessions are always on time. Could be slightly more dynamic in presentation style but the content is excellent.β
