My approach is deeply Socratic. I do not lecture — I question, challenge, and guide. My students learn to construct rigorous arguments, evaluate evidence critically, and write with clarity and precision. These skills serve them not only in examinations but throughout their intellectual and professional lives.
I specialise in A-Level and IB History and Philosophy, Oxbridge entrance preparation, and undergraduate supervision-style tutoring. My students have gained places at Oxford, Cambridge, LSE, UCL, and other top universities. Several have gone on to win undergraduate prizes in their departments.
My bilingualism in English and French allows me to draw on both Anglo-Saxon and Continental philosophical traditions, giving my students a broader perspective than most tutors can offer.
“Good tutor overall. Solid knowledge and clear explanations. Sometimes goes a bit fast but happily repeats when asked. Decent value.”
“Very professional and well-prepared. My grades improved significantly after just a few sessions. The structured approach makes all the difference.”
“Patient and encouraging, even when I struggled with the basics. Never made me feel judged. Genuinely invested in my progress.”
“The best maths tutor I have ever had. Clear explanations, challenging exercises, and a knack for making difficult concepts click. Five stars easily.”
