I read Philosophy, Politics, and Economics at the University of Oxford, graduating with a First. After two years as a policy adviser at a Westminster think tank, I turned to tutoring full-time and have spent five years helping students navigate the crossroads of philosophy, politics, and economics.

My unique selling point is interdisciplinary thinking. The most interesting questions — about justice, freedom, inequality, democracy — cannot be answered by philosophy or economics alone. My sessions weave together philosophical reasoning, economic analysis, and political context to build a richer understanding.
I am particularly effective at Oxbridge preparation. Having gone through the process myself and having tutored dozens of successful applicants, I know what the admissions tutors are looking for: intellectual curiosity, the ability to think on your feet, and the courage to challenge your own assumptions. I train all three.
I also speak German fluently, which allows me to draw on the Continental philosophical tradition and to tutor German-speaking students in their own language when helpful.
“Good tutor overall. Solid knowledge and clear explanations. Sometimes goes a bit fast but happily repeats when asked. Decent value.”
“Very professional and well-prepared. My grades improved significantly after just a few sessions. The structured approach makes all the difference.”
“Patient and encouraging, even when I struggled with the basics. Never made me feel judged. Genuinely invested in my progress.”
“The best maths tutor I have ever had. Clear explanations, challenging exercises, and a knack for making difficult concepts click. Five stars easily.”
