Adeola Okonkwo

I work as a senior data scientist at a Manchester-based fintech company and tutor in my spare time because I genuinely love teaching. I hold an MSc in Computer Science from the University of Manchester and have published research in machine learning applied to financial data.

My tutoring covers Python programming from beginner to advanced, data science (pandas, NumPy, scikit-learn, TensorFlow), and computer science fundamentals including algorithms and data structures. I work with university students, career changers, and professionals looking to add data skills to their toolkit.

Every session is hands-on. We write code together, debug together, and build projects that you can add to your portfolio. I believe the best way to learn programming is by building things, not by watching lectures. My students have gone on to land roles at major tech companies, startups, and research labs.

I also offer interview preparation for data science and software engineering roles, including live coding practice and system design discussions.
