I tutor Arabic for beginners and intermediates, focusing on Modern Standard Arabic and conversational Levantine dialect. For Arabic, I use a communicative approach where students start speaking from the first session, with grammar introduced gradually through context rather than rote memorisation.
I also teach ESL to Arabic-speaking newcomers to the UK, helping them build the everyday English they need for work, study, and daily life. Having grown up in a bilingual household, I understand the specific challenges Arabic speakers face with English pronunciation, grammar, and idioms.
I am at the beginning of my tutoring career and keep my rates accessible to build experience and my student base. Despite being new, I bring genuine passion and cultural insight that enriches every lesson.
“Decent tutor. Knows the subject but the teaching style did not always click with me. Others might have a different experience.”
“Quality lessons, though I would have liked more practice exercises between sessions. The in-class teaching is very good though.”
“Very competent teacher. The first session felt slightly unstructured but subsequent ones were much better organised. Good progress overall.”
“Reliable and professional. Sessions are always on time. Could be slightly more dynamic in presentation style but the content is excellent.”
