I have been running competitively since school and completed my first marathon at nineteen. After graduating with a degree in Exercise and Sport Science from Edinburgh Napier University, I combined my passion for running with my qualification to become a specialist running coach and personal trainer.
I have been running competitively since school and completed my first marathon at nineteen. After graduating with a degree in Exercise and Sport Science from Edinburgh Napier University, I combined my passion for running with my qualification to become a specialist running coach and personal trainer.
My niche is marathon and half-marathon preparation, but I work with runners at every level, from those completing their first Couch to 5K to experienced runners chasing PBs. I design periodised training plans that balance volume, intensity, and recovery to peak performance on race day.
Beyond running, I offer general personal training and nutrition guidance. My approach is grounded in sports science: I use heart rate training zones, lactate threshold testing, and gait analysis to make training as efficient as possible.
Edinburgh is a phenomenal city for outdoor training, and I make full use of Arthur's Seat, Holyrood Park, and the Water of Leith paths. Sessions can be in person (outdoors or gym-based) or online for those following a structured plan remotely.
