Emily Saunders

I graduated from the University of Oxford with a First in PPE and subsequently completed a Master's in Education at the University of Bristol. For two years, I returned to Oxford as an admissions interviewer, giving me direct insight into what the most selective universities are looking for.

My tutoring focuses on competitive university admissions: Oxbridge preparation, medicine, and other high-demand courses. I offer personal statement workshops, mock interview sessions, and aptitude test preparation (TSA, BMAT, LNAT, MAT).

Beyond admissions, I tutor A-Level and IB students in Politics, Economics, and Philosophy. My exam technique sessions are built around the specific mark schemes of each exam board, teaching students to target marks systematically rather than writing general essays.

I am direct with students about where they stand and what they need to improve. Not every student will get into Oxford, and I believe in setting realistic targets while pushing each person to achieve their personal best. The students who work hardest in our sessions consistently achieve offers from their top-choice universities.
