I graduated from the London School of Economics with a Master's in Economics and now work as a junior analyst at an investment bank in the City. For three years, I have tutored A-Level and IB economics and geography in my spare time, because teaching keeps me sharp and I genuinely enjoy it.

My advantage as an economics tutor is that I use economics every single day in my job. When I explain opportunity cost, marginal analysis, or monetary policy, I am not reading from a textbook â I am drawing on real experience. My students appreciate this practical perspective, and it makes abstract concepts click.
In geography, I focus on economic geography and development: globalisation, trade, urbanisation, inequality. The overlap with my economics teaching is significant, and students studying both subjects benefit enormously from seeing the connections.
I am young, relatable, and I remember what it was like to sit A-Levels. I know the exam format inside out and I teach efficient strategies for maximising marks. My students typically improve by two grades or more over a term, and several have gone on to study economics at Russell Group universities.
âDecent tutor. Knows the subject but the teaching style did not always click with me. Others might have a different experience.â
âQuality lessons, though I would have liked more practice exercises between sessions. The in-class teaching is very good though.â
âVery competent teacher. The first session felt slightly unstructured but subsequent ones were much better organised. Good progress overall.â
âReliable and professional. Sessions are always on time. Could be slightly more dynamic in presentation style but the content is excellent.â
