I am in my final year studying History and Geography at SOAS, University of London, with a focus on South Asian history and postcolonial geography. I have been tutoring GCSE and A-Level students for a year, helping them navigate exam technique and build confidence in humanities subjects.

I chose SOAS because I wanted a different perspective on history and geography — one that does not centre Europe. This global outlook enriches my teaching: my students learn about the Mughal Empire alongside the Tudors, about urbanisation in Lagos alongside London. They consistently tell me that my lessons open their eyes to how connected the world really is.

My teaching is friendly and supportive. I remember being a stressed GCSE student, and I know that what you need most is someone who makes the subject feel manageable.
