I am a final-year Computer Science student at the University of York with a passion for web development. I have been building websites since I was fourteen and started tutoring last year after realising how many people struggle with the concepts I find intuitive.

I specialise in JavaScript and front-end web development. My lessons are entirely project-based: we build real websites and web applications together, learning HTML, CSS, and JavaScript through practical creation rather than abstract exercises. By the end of a typical course of lessons, students have a portfolio of projects they can show to employers.

I am particularly good at explaining programming concepts to people who have never coded before. I use analogies, visual diagrams, and live coding demonstrations to make abstract ideas concrete. I also help intermediate developers with modern JavaScript frameworks, responsive design, and version control.

My rates are deliberately affordable. I remember how expensive it felt to access quality learning resources as a student, and I want to make web development education accessible to everyone.
