The move to private tutoring was driven by a desire to give each student the individual attention they deserve. In a classroom of thirty, it is impossible to tailor your teaching to each learner's needs. One-to-one, I can identify gaps in understanding, build on strengths, and develop the critical thinking skills that examiners reward.
I specialise in GCSE and A-level History, Politics, and Geography. My approach centres on developing strong analytical writing skills and the ability to construct persuasive, evidence-based arguments. I teach students not just what to think but how to think about historical and political questions.
I am passionate about making these subjects relevant and engaging. I draw connections between historical events and contemporary politics, helping students see why understanding the past matters for navigating the present. My lessons are discussion-driven, intellectually stimulating, and always focused on building the skills needed for examination success.
âGood tutor overall. Solid knowledge and clear explanations. Sometimes goes a bit fast but happily repeats when asked. Decent value.â
âVery professional and well-prepared. My grades improved significantly after just a few sessions. The structured approach makes all the difference.â
âPatient and encouraging, even when I struggled with the basics. Never made me feel judged. Genuinely invested in my progress.â
âReliable and professional. Sessions are always on time. Could be slightly more dynamic in presentation style but the content is excellent.â
