I am a second-year Sport and Exercise Science student at the University of Plymouth and hold an FA Level 2 coaching qualification. I have been coaching football for two years, working with youth teams, adult recreational players, and individuals who want to improve their game.
My coaching covers technical skills (passing, shooting, dribbling, first touch), tactical awareness (positioning, movement off the ball, game reading), and football-specific fitness. I design each session around the individual's goals, whether that is making a local team, improving match fitness, or simply enjoying the game more.
My sports science background gives me an edge in designing effective training programmes. I understand the biomechanics of movement, the physiology of endurance, and the principles of periodisation. This means my coaching is not just based on experience but grounded in evidence.
I work with players aged eight and above, from complete beginners to semi-professional level. I am passionate about making football coaching accessible and affordable. My sessions are always high-energy, positive, and focused on improvement through enjoyment.
âGood tutor overall. Solid knowledge and clear explanations. Sometimes goes a bit fast but happily repeats when asked. Decent value.â
âQuality lessons, though I would have liked more practice exercises between sessions. The in-class teaching is very good though.â
âVery competent teacher. The first session felt slightly unstructured but subsequent ones were much better organised. Good progress overall.â
âThe best maths tutor I have ever had. Clear explanations, challenging exercises, and a knack for making difficult concepts click. Five stars easily.â
