Ravi Krishnamurthy

After completing my MSc in Computer Science at the University of Oxford, I worked as a software engineer at a fintech startup for three years before realising that teaching was my true calling. For the past six years, I have been helping students, career changers, and professionals learn to code with confidence.

I specialise in Python, web development, and algorithmic thinking. My lessons are project-based: rather than working through abstract exercises, we build real applications together. Students leave my sessions with working code they are proud of, not just theoretical knowledge.

I have a particular talent for making complex concepts accessible. Whether it is explaining recursion through visual metaphors, breaking down dynamic programming with step-by-step diagrams, or demystifying REST APIs with practical examples, I meet each student where they are.

I prepare university students for exams and interviews, help bootcamp graduates fill gaps in their knowledge, and guide complete beginners through their first lines of code. My background in industry means I teach not just academic computer science but the practical skills employers actually value.
