My recent experience as a student myself is a genuine advantage. I remember exactly which concepts I found confusing, which textbook explanations were unhelpful, and which study strategies actually worked. I use that fresh perspective to anticipate where my students will struggle and prepare clear, relatable explanations.
I cover GCSE and AS-level Chemistry and Biology, with particular strength in organic chemistry, cell biology, and genetics. My lessons combine clear explanations with plenty of practice questions, past paper work, and memory techniques that make revision more efficient.
I keep my rates affordable because I believe that quality tutoring should not be a luxury only available to wealthy families. My goal for every student is simple: understand the science, enjoy it, and get the grade they need.
“Good tutor overall. Solid knowledge and clear explanations. Sometimes goes a bit fast but happily repeats when asked. Decent value.”
“Quality lessons, though I would have liked more practice exercises between sessions. The in-class teaching is very good though.”
“Very competent teacher. The first session felt slightly unstructured but subsequent ones were much better organised. Good progress overall.”
“The best maths tutor I have ever had. Clear explanations, challenging exercises, and a knack for making difficult concepts click. Five stars easily.”
